Cameroon Office manager to speak at St. Stephens in Hickory following the International LLL Convention in Greensboro

 Proclaiming Christ in Africa

Joana Andrianasolo, Director of Lutheran Hour Ministries’ International Ministry Center in Madagascar, was scheduled to speak in our area to raise awareness and support for his center’s work of sharing the Gospel.  Due to the current political climate of Madagascar, Joana was not able to make the trip.  Sharing Joana’s story will be Rev. Dr. Samuel Frouisou, Director of LHM—Cameroon, who will present at St. Stephen’s Lutheran on Friday, July 24 at 7pm. Eric Gates, LHM Area Counselor for Africa & the Middle East, will update us on Joana’s work and what the Lord is doing to reach the lost in Madagascar.

Please plan to join us for an interesting event that will help us to learn how God can use you to share the Gospel all over the world!
Refreshments will be served at a reception following the presentation

The Reverend Kenneth R. Klaus, distinguished Lutheran Hour speaker, was the keynote speaker at a fundraising banquet held on Saturday, May 20th at St. Stephens Lutheran Church.

The Lutheran Hour has proclaimed an unwavering message of salvation through Christ for three-quarters of a century. Today, this flagship radio program of Lutheran Hour Ministries continues to proclaim Christ online at www.lutheranhour.org, to more than 1.2 million weekly listeners on more than 800 stations coast to coast, and to military personnel around the world through the American Forces Network.

We all had an opportunity to meet the man behind the 'mike'! All of Reverend Klaus' presentations were heartfelt, well received and powerfully delivered.  Thank you Pastor Klaus for your inspiration and advice.
